Here is a glimpse of our week and things to come.
MATH / PHONICS / RELIGION / WRITING
It's hard to believe the year is coming to a close soon! We are spending our school days working hard to review all we've learned all year. Each day the kids practice their spelling and writing -- it is great to see how well they are all spelling...they've even been able to spell 5 letter words! It's awesome to see them realize they can do it!
In Math, we are reviewing addition and subtraction with fun activities. Their problem solving skills continue to improve each day.
We've attended mass with the school and been able to see and talk about the milestones of the upper grades, like May Crowning. Something these kids will be participating in a blink!
Through this week & next, the kids will continue to bring home their readers 2-3 times a week. Thank you for practicing these books with them. It makes a big difference for them when we read in class or when they read to their partners. Please be sure to return the readers to school the following day.
LOST & FOUND
These items are now at the office lost and found: the school sweatshirt below 10/12M, and a grey Alpine fleece 6/7. We also now have a girls red sweater Youth XS that says "Abby" on the tag. The Old Navy fleece found its home.
